A small family run touring caravan and camping park situated in the quiet rural heart of West Somerset.

Close to Exmoor and the coast at the foot of the beautiful Quantock hills this peaceful park is set in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and an ideal touring base for Somerset, Exmoor and the North Devon coast.

Good road links from all directions and minimal local traffic means stress free, enjoyable holiday motoring.

Personally supervised by the proprietors Michael and Sara Barrett, the park is seasonally inspected by the English Tourist Board and has constantly been awarded their top 5 Tick Excellent Grade. Regular awards for excellence have also been gained from the A.A. for sanitation facilities and attractive environment. The site has also won best site in West of England and one of the three best in the U.K. by Camping and Walking magazine.

If you like to cycle then you can take your pick from our newly introduced mountain bike hire service. We have a range of high quality M.T.B's on which you can explore the tranquil lanes and picturesque villages around the park, or we can transport you and your hire bikes free of charge (min 3 bikes) up to the Quantocks so that you can ride along the many trails across these spectacular hills. A healthy and fun way to explore.

We are open all year round including Christmas and New Year. Our heated toilet block, showers and bathroom plus our selection of hard standing pitches with hook-up, make it perfect for that quiet, cosy Christmas or Winter break in the country. Christmas Day lunch is available at our local Inn (numbers permitting). Please check with us in advance, we would be pleased to send a menu in good time.

This very peaceful corner of Somerset is blessed with superb panoramic beauty and many delightful attractions.

Our park is just a short walk away from Crowcombe station, on the West Somerset Railway, the longest preserved steam railway in the country. Just to stand on the picturesque platform is to step back in time.

If you like to walk - this is the place for you. The wooded valleys and combes of the Quantocks and the rugged expanse of Exmoor with its famous landmarks are not to be missed. These very special, diverse and historical landscapes will satisfy all levels of leisure walkers at any time of the year.

The mysterious Somerset levels, Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar Caves and Wookey Hole as well as the friendly country town of Taunton and the medieval village of Dunster are just a few of the many places of interest nearby.
