The camp site occupies ten acres on the boundary of the Bryson family, six hundred acre stock farm. The fishing is excellent; Loch Ken is most famous for its pike, roach, bream and perch.
Loch Ken Holiday Park offers luxurious two and three bedroom holiday homes for rent. They all have front decking with view on the Loch.

Adjacent to the park are the RSPB bird reservation and the Galloway Forest Park which offers our visitors many opportunities to walk, climb, cycle and bird watch.
Parton is in the centre of Galloway with the delightful market food town of Castle Douglas, seven miles away, and the art town of Kirkcudbright fifteen miles away.
There are a number of bird sanctuaries, 'open' farms, countryside parks and forest walks, 7Stanes mountain biking, golf courses, plus many museums, craft workshops, galleries and other attractions.
