East Devon is a beautifully unspoilt part of the West Country and in the heart of this area is Andrewshayes Caravan Park. Ideally placed for your caravan or camping holiday, whether you prefer to relax by our swimming pool, visit a local beach or explore the West Country and it's attractions.Andrewshayes is very accessible, situated only a half hour drive from Junction 25 of the M5, or five minutes away from the train station at Axminster.

The whole park is landscaped amongst a variety of maturing trees with superb views over the Axe valley. We offer a full range of luxury holiday homes for hire or sale, as well as camping pitches for up to 150 units all with electric hookup. A further field for sixty touring caravans can be used for Rallies. Camper vans, motor-homes, touring caravans and tents are all welcome at Andrewshayes Caravan Park.

All the facilities at Andrewshayes are designed with the comfort and enjoyment of our guests as our primary concern and have wheelchair access. From our spacious reception/shop, to the bistro and bar, the heated swimming pool or the toilet/shower buildings, we pride ourselves in the high standard of all our facilities.

Friendly, personal service from the resident owners, Harry and Stephanie Lawrence, their family and staff, is the hallmark of this pleasant country park.

Facilities

The popular poolside bar and bistro will ensure you have no need to travel for good quality food in a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Adjoining the bar is an attractive, flower filled conservatory, which allows you to enjoy the evening sun with a drink, or watch the children swim.

Set in a large fenced patio area, the outdoor swimming pool measures 15x7 1/2 metres and is heated from the end of May to early September. There is also a small pool for toddlers.

There is an adventure play area, with a playhouse, slide, swings and seesaw. The amusement/games room is equipped with various video machines and a pool table for older children. There is also table tennis and a television.

Our reception doubles as a small shop, selling bread, milk, newspapers, sweets and ice creams. For your other grocery needs we are only 5 minutes drive from Tesco in Axminster.

Calor Gas, Camping Gaz, stamps and postcards are also available from reception.

The launderette has token-operated commercial washing machines and tumble dryers. Irons are provided for use free-of-charge. There are separate covered areas for dish and hand washing with an ample supply of hot water.

The information room is packed with leaflets, posters and ideas to ensure you are never at a loss for something different to do on each day of your holiday. If you run out of something to read we even have a book swap.

Static Caravans

The park accommodates eighty luxury, fully serviced static holiday homes. They are of a very high quality, set amongst a variety of mature trees with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The caravans vary in size from twenty-two to thirty-five feet and many are luxurious and spacious 12ft wide models.

All the holiday homes have the English Tourist Board's Rose Award. This guarantees that they are well maintained, clean and equipped to a high standard for all your cooking and eating requirements. Each caravan has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker and refrigerator . The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and flush toilet. There is hot water to bathroom and kitchen. The lounge and dining areas are spacious and have a gas fire and colour television. There are no extra charges for gas or electricity.

For sleeping arrangements caravans can accommodate up to seven people in either a one, two or three bedroom models. In a two bedroom unit there is usually one double bedroom and one twin bedded room, a second double bed can be made up in the lounge. A three bedroom unit would have another twin bedded room. We also have a six berth caravan especially designed for a family with a disabled person.

All caravans have duvets but you will need to bring your own bed linen or hire from us at £7 per person per week.

Each year we update our hire fleet with a number of new holiday caravans, ensuring that we maintain a high standard of accommodation.

Touring Park

Set in three gently sloping meadows, with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, camping and touring at Andrewshayes is a friendly experience, whether you just plan to stop for a few nights or for the whole season.

As well as there being no minimum number of nights you can book in the low season, we can also offer accessible storage so that you can leave your touring caravan in the West Country, available for whenever you wish to use it. Storage is for a minimum of one month.

Facilities are excellent, with high quality, clean and well maintained toilet and shower blocks, with free hot water, family rooms, free hairdryers and baby changing facilities. We sell Calor Gas and Camping Gaz at reception and our value for money bistro and takeaway mean that you don't have to cook every night.

All the pitches have 240v/10amp electric hook-ups available, but you do need to bring your own lead and plug. There are terraced pitches for campervans and tents also with electric hook-ups.

Booking is essential in the peak weeks as many of our pitches are reserved for seasonal use. We have 90 fully serviced hard standing pitches for seasonal use, these are usually reserved in advance from September.
