Elm Cottage Touring Park (5 stars) is situated in beautiful Vale Royal, the very heart of Mid- Cheshire on the A54 about 3 miles west of Winsford and 12 miles east of Chester, 1.5 miles from Oulton Park racing circuit.

Elm Cottage Touring Park comprises of a 2 acre marked pitch, touring field, a 6.5 acre informal camping and rally field, with a heated amenity block new in 2008 with free showers.

High Speed Internet Access is now available throughout the Park.

Motorhome Service Point

Elm Cottage can also provide Bed & Breakfast accommodation within the the main house with an additional facility of a self-contained studio-style ensuite chalet which collectively represents one of Cheshire's premier sites offering perhaps the most competitive rates for both Camping & Caravanning and Bed & Breakfast in the county.

In addition to being an approved Calor Gas Dealer, Elm Cottage is also in a position to supply visitors with many other secondary services such as battery charging, an on-site tyre inflation facility, and morning newspapers. Cold drinks, ices, fresh milk and a few other essentials

Well-behaved dogs and other pets are very welcome on the touring park. Unfortunately we cannot allow them in the B & B or Self-Catering accommodations.

The Touring Field

The touring field caters for caravans and motorhomes and comprises a two acre level field with panoramic views of the surrounding unspoilt rural countryside, having good on-site hard surfaced access roads leading to a mixture of all-weather Fully Serviced and grass pitches with 10 amp electric hook-ups.

Other on-site facilities include an amenity block for both men and women each with under floor heating,continuous hot and cold running water and free hot showers. A disabled wet room accessed with a RADAR key that also has infant washing facilities. Dish-washing room (freezer provided during summer months for ice packs), Laundry room and chemical toilet disposal room are all situated in the amenity block, waste water and rubbish disposal points are also provided.

Camping and Rally Field

The 6.5 acre camping/rally field is split between informal camping for tents and caravan rallies and has views across the Cheshire Plain to the Pennines.

The only services within the field are 16 electrical hook-ups that are available for rally or tent use.

All dogs are to be kept on a lead within your camping area, a dog walk is also available. Owners are asked to ensure that the 'usual' health precautions are taken to keep the site and immediate locality clean by clearing up after their pets and using the appropriate site waste bins provided.

Camping

Tent pitches are arranged around the edge of the camping field , leaving the centre free for recreational pursuits (no kite flying). Campers have access to the amenity block directly from the camping field.

Rallies

Generally rallies within the rally field would have the use of the water taps and chemical toilet disposal point. Toilet facilities can only be used during an organised event in the rally barn or snug. Please check with your rally steward for any change to these conditions. For everyone's comfort, children on the rallies are requested to stay and play within the rally field.

The 'Rally Barn' is a facility specially equipped for hire by organised groups or rallies for social gatherings etc. It is a block-built 40' x 36' carpeted barn. It has portable heating, seating and tables for up to 80 people, a small dance floor, a Hi-Fi system, pool table, table tennis table, dart board and also facilities for making tea or coffee and/or hot drinks with double-drainer sink unit.

Catering, be it either hot or cold food, can be provided at very reasonable prices for all sizes of organised groups and rallies, by prior arrangement. Please discuss your requirements with us.
