Solway View Caravan Park
Solway View is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site. You can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of this coastal location and the farmland that surrounds you. Please feel free to explore with our Farm & Nature Trails. We are open all year round and we welcome - Caravans, Motorhomes, Folding Campers & Tents. Ideal site for individuals, couples & families.
All our Cravan & Camping pitches are very spacious. We have electric hook-up points at all Caravan pitches and all have grass & hard standing. Tent pitches can have EHU too. We have provided a picnic bench & brick BBQ area at each pitch Caravan pitch. Also picnic bench & campfire area at the camping pitches.
As well as the CCC site, we have 3 Large Wigwams available for hire. Suitable for Individuals, Couples & Families. The Wigwams are comfortable, spacious and warm. Equipped with foam mattresses and electricity for heating and light. Each has a fridge, kettle, toaster and a microwave/gill provided. There is a picnic bench, BBQ and parking area at each wigwam site. Solway View Wigwams offer a fantastic way to enjoy the great outdoors with comfort camping all year round.
Solway View is an ideal base from which you can discover and enjoy the countryside, local villages & towns. The Artist town of Kirkcudbright is always worth a visit and can be reached by following a fantastic coastal route, take the car or for the more energetic, go on foot or by bike.
Nearby is Cream O' Galloway, an organic farm. They have a wonderful outside adventure play area and an inside playbarn, catering for children of all ages. They have a fabulous selection of ice cream and frozen yoghurt and a tea-room with a great selection of meals.
There are many facilities and activities you can enjoy while you are in this beautiful part of Scotland. Beaches, Water Sports, Bird Watching, Hill walking, Climbing, Gardens, Golf, fishing, Mountain Biking and Road Cycle routes and much much more.
