Blacklands Farm Camping
We are a small, family run farm, set in 40 acres of picturesque rural countryside. Our camping field is a quiet grassy meadow backed by tall trees and a carp lake.
You are able to pitch your tents right next to the lake and are able to fish there for carp if prearranged with us.
A short walk along open of many the public footpaths will take you to the river Adur and 25 mins further to The Royal Oak' country pub in Wineham (Good Pub Guide 2005) The nearest town is Henfield where you can pick up The South Downs Link, an excellent walking/cycling route which runs between Shoreham Beach and Guildford.
Blacklands Farm is a good Base for exploring Sussex and parts of Surrey and Kent with are rich in historical buildings, castles, windmills and wild life parks etc.
We are 20 minutes from the seaside city of Brighton, where you can shop in famous cobbled Laines or eat out in one of it's many diverse restaurants and lively bars and pubs or spend the day on the beach. There are hourly boat trips from Brighton Marina where you can spend a couple of hours fishing for mackerel to BBQ later for dinner.
There is plenty to do in the near surrounding area for children, including Washbrooks Farm and Southwater Country park.
Whether you choose to relax in the peace and quite of the West Sussex countryside or busy yourself with the many surrounding attractions, no doubt you'll have a lovely stay and have found a hidden gem to visit for many years to come.
Basic Facilities include newly refurbished Toilets and Showers, which are, free and near to the camping areas.

Children under five are £2.50 Per Person Per Night
