Hidden Valley Holiday Park
Hidden Valley Park is a quiet site on the banks of the Avonmore River and amongst the Wicklow Mountains.
We have fishing on the river and our own private stocked lake, as well as swimming and boating. There are also a few scenic walks right from the campsite. We are located in the town of Rathdrum, which offers pubs, restaurants, shops and a tourist office. The bus station and the train station are all in walking distance of the campsite. So why not take the train for a day out shopping on the infamous Grafton Street in Dublin, or head South for a seaside day in Wexford.
Drinks and snacks are available in reception, or you can stroll into town for a nice meal. Bates restaurant, The Coffin Shed, The Cartoon Inn, Jacob's Well, the Chinese Take-away or the Pinot Take-away are all great choices for nice evening dinners or quick bites. Weekly music sessions are offered in a few of the pubs.
Within a 10 minutes drive are numerous local attractions including Glendalough, Clara Lara Funpark, Avondale House, Brittas Bay Beach, Greenan Museum and Maze, Millbrook Golf Course and Leisure Centre, Mount Usher Gardens, The Wicklow Gaol, Moat Farm and numerous golf courses.
From Dublin take the N11 South to the R752 for Rathdrum. When entering the town you will take your first right down the lane-way after you cross the Avonmore River.
From Wexford take the N11 North to the R752 for Rathdrum. Pass through the town and before leaving take the left down the lane-way before crossing the bridge of the Avonmore River. The road will lead you into the campsite.
