Woodland rise offers the perfect place for a relaxing few days. Breath in the fresh countryside air, take in the fabulous scenery, walk around our fields or maybe a longer walk in the stunning Bluebell woods.

We offer electric hook-up, toilets and showers and a chemical disposal point using green fluid only. Woodland Rise is a certified site with the Camping and Caravanning Club so you can book with peace of mind.
We are a family and pet friendly site. You can even borrow a hose to clean off your mucky four legged friends!

Woodland Rise is set in the small hamlet of Blaen-y-coed, about ten miles outside of Carmarthen. We are ideally located to visit West Wales many attractions and can be used as a gateway to exploring everything Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire has to offer.

Within a short drive sits Carmarthen Golf Club, Carmarthenshire's premier golf course.

A small shop and restaurant is a few miles up the road. The Bluebell Inn is a Chinese restaurant and takeaway.

Other attractions include The National Wool Museum, The Botanic Garden of Wales, Pembrey Country Park, The Museum of Speed at the famous Pendine sands, Dinefwr Park and much more. For history lovers there are plenty of old Welsh castles.

Kidwelly is one of Cadw's best and is well worth a visit. All of these attractions are easily within an hours drive from Woodland Rise Camping and Caravanning site.
