Drummohr Caravan Park
The Drummohr Park itself was originally the walled garden of a monastry - and much of its original tranquil atmosphere has remained intact. Sheltered and wooded on all sides, this secluded park is mainly level and carefully landscaped, including the planting of some 1.500 trees and shrubs. It has an extensive view on its northern aspect of the Firth of Forth.
All pitches are generously spaced and are within easy reach of drinking water and waste disposal points. Two seperate and fully tiled toilet blocks have been built to an exceptionally high standard. Incorporated in each block is a chemical toilet disposal point and a fully equipped laundry room.
At Drummohr we have 5 superior lodges in a combination of 2 or 3 bedrooms suitable to sleep from 2 - 6 people. We also have a further 7 3 bedroomed lodges fitted to a higher standard , those are all once again suitable to sleep 2 - 6 people. In addition to this 2 of our VIP lodges and 1 of the superior lodges have their own private hot tubs.
All our lodges are fully equipped, with some bedrooms ensuite, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, lounge with TV and DVD. Outside seating area to the front of each lodge all with sea views. Electricity and bed linen is included in the cost of your stay. Own towels are required, metered laundry facilities are available on site. An area at the centre of the park has been set aside as a children's play area with swings, slide etc.
Other on-site services include electric hook up points, hard standings and serviced pitches, pay phone, camping gas and calor gas and a well stocked shop. For the disabled, toilet and shower facilities are provided and all doorways have ramped access. Dogs are allowed if kept on a lead and under control at all times.
Your host, William Melville, lives on the site to ensure the closest possible attention to your requirements. To assist in this aim, visitor information, local brochures and leaflets are available at reception.
