Being only 12 miles from Dumfries and 4 from Annan, where all usual local amenities can be found.
West Moss-side is a working farm and livery stables, with superb coastal views across the Solway to Silloth and the Lake District. Only 1 mile away is the Broom Fisheries for those who enjoy a days course fishing and further up the coast is Caerlaverock Wildfowl and Wetland Trust for the keen birdwatcher. Although we have plenty of wildfowl on our own land in the winter months.
There are numerous peaceful secluded walks be it on the beach or through woodland for dog walking. We are also adjacent to Powfoot Golf Club and hotel.
There are plenty of places to visit of historical interest, our site caters mainly for those wishing to get away from it all, and have a quiet relaxing break among the breathtaking scenery of Southwest Scotland.

Cyclists and campers are most welcome and we can accommodate at short notice if you want to break your journey.
We are with easy reach of the A75 on the Solway Coast Heritage Trail, only 19 miles from Carlisle, our emphasis is on peaceful quiet relaxing breaks but not too rural if you want to venture further.
