Tree Pigs Farm Campsite

Our small campsite is near Kardjali (25kms) Perperikon, Haskovo (25kms), Stara Zagora and Asenovgrad. We are on the main bus route from Sofia, Bourgas and Varna with excellent public transport throughout the region.

Some of the historical sites and natural phenomenon you can visit during your stay at our B&B mini pig farm include: Perperikon, Orpheus Tomb at Tatul, Castle Ustra, stone mushrooms and caves near Kardjali.

Lake Thrakia is situated right on the edge of our village and is teeming with an abundant variety of fish.

The surrounding hills, which offer some of the most stunning scenery in the world, are full of wildlife and birds. Some species you may not have seen in your own country for many years and this is an ideal base for bird watching in Bulgaria.

This area of the Bulgarian Rhodopes is ideal for hiking holidays and hill walking suitable for the most experienced of hikers and those who wish to pace themselves to a gentler walk.

Our wonderful campsite and guesthouse is central to many newly discovered archaeological sites and natural phenomenon.

Your visits to Kardjali and Haskovo both offer an eclectic selection of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, markets, modern outlets and without exception, some of the friendliest welcoming people in the world.

In fact this region of Bulgaria has something to offer everyone with a sense of adventure and an interest in other cultures.

You choose how you want to spend your time with us!

You don't even have to bring you own tent if you want to reduce your luggage!

We can provide you with 3 and 4 man tents, camping beds, sleeping bags, pillows, mains power (for camper vans) and toilets etc. during your stay camping in the grounds or on the perimeter of our small farm......or you can bunk up with the pigs. (only joking, you may keep them awake with your snoring)

Local transport is very reliable and we have two small general stores and a bar in the village 200 yards from the house.

You still get the full use of all the facilities on the property including showers, BBQ/patio area and garden.

Breakfast in the farmhouse can be provided on request.
