No Frills Camping
The First and Last Inn - one of Cornwall's most famous inns, not only because of its location but also because of its notorious reputation as home to smugglers and ship wreckers since the 17th century!
The First and Last Inn is in a small and relatively quiet village. The staff at the First and Last are looking forward to inviting campers to stay next door and to enjoy the hospitality and live music available.
Camping (tents only) is now available from 5th August until 2nd September 2009.
This is no frills camping so only toilets are available. Great food and beer are available from the pub and there is live music every Saturday night.
Beer from both Sharps and St Austell's Breweries and a menu which includes ploughman's, baguettes, jacket potatoes, soup, steak & ale pie, lasagne, curry, homemade fish pie, sausage and mash, lamb shank, scampi, ham, egg & chips etc.
Desserts also available such as Cornish Mead Trifle, Raspberry Pavlova, Banana Split and Fruit crumble. Local attractions include Lands End, Geevor Tin Mine, Minack Theatre, St Austell's Brewery and of course the beautiful beaches all along the coast.
Rules of the site are;
1. Cars are not allowed in the field.
2. Leave a reasonable space between pitches.
3. No fires of BBQ's.
4. Noise should be kept to a minimum after 11pm.
5. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times.
6. Please clear up after your dogs.
7. Use the dustbins and especially recycling bins provided.
Finally treat our village with respect and enjoy your stay.
