New Shipping Farm Caravan and Tent Park.
Our site has two areas for camping, one overlooks the Lawrenny Estuary with stunning views, the other is on a small paddock adjoining our drive. We have a ladies and gents shower and toilet unit, waste disposal area, and drinking water tap. Annexed to the farmhouse is an extra ladies toilet with h/c water and baby changing/bath facilities. We are only a basic site with the Camping and Caravan Club and so therefore we will never be overcrowded.
We have a farm walk linking up with the national park walk to Carew castle and mill, only a short walk away. There is access to the tidal river via a hard road for those who want to bring their own canoes and kayaks, and those of you who enjoy fishing, with views of Carew castle and mill; this is an ideal location for artists with many different points of interest.
The farm is off the main road in unspoilt natural surroundings ideal for bird and wild life so bring your binoculars there's a view round every corner. The local Inn in Carew is accessible via the walk or road and well worth a visit serving excellent food as well as afternoon tea's, in the next nearby village there is a farm shop for your fresh provisions.
Our beaches are among the best in wales, beaches such as Tenby with it's north, south and harbour beach, a quaint town with many interesting features and lots of small shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. others include, Freswater east and west, Broadhaven, Barafundle, Manobier to name just a few and all within a few miles.
There are many National park cycle and walk routes inland and coastal, and for the kids we are near many local attractions such as Oakwood theme park, folly farm, Heatherton activities, horse riding, Karting etc.
