There are two camping fields total of 3 acres and are adjacent to Whixley Lodge, Close to Shops & garage with mini store, also Farm shop including a Chinese restaurant with a take away 2 minutes drive from the camping sites
easy access to all locations.
Rail station 1 minute from campsite. York & Knaresborough, Light water valley, just a short drive away.
There are 4 good restaurants 2 minutes drive from Whixley Lodge, serving a selection of good food and wine, if you need a pub or inn there are 6 local pubs and inns within 2 minutes by road, fancy a round of golf with a driving range, Flaxby golf course just down the road 2 minutes drive.
Dogs allowed
Neil Morrissey's pub, The Old Punch Bowl at Grafton is 5 minutes drive from Whixley Lodge.(Men behaving badly TV program).
Both fields have fresh tap water & Chemical toilet disposal points,

Campsite Conditions
General Conditions Camping field (1) half acre
* On arrival please check in and pay any outstanding fees.
* Pitch your tent so as to cause the least inconvenience to other campers.
* Please leave the site and buildings clean and tidy
* Trailer tents are accepted.
* No fires are permitted on site other than freestanding barbecues. Barbecues should not be placed directly on the grass.
* No digging of holes on the site.
* The proprietors accept no responsibility for loss, damage, injury, theft or fire to either persons or property of the campers.
* The proprietors reserve the right at all times, and at their complete discretion, to request that persons should leave the premises.
* All person using the site are expected to be aware of these conditions.
Camping field 1 will be used first until full, then field 2 will be filled.
