The Quiet Site is a family run site situated in a secluded position amongst the stunning fells that overlook Lake Ullswater.
This is a superbly maintained and very picturesque site, the facilities being housed mainly in old converted farm buildings.
There are many beautiful walks that you can start from right outside the Quiet Site and numerous activities and attractions a very short drive away.
We are also in an ideal position for touring both the North and South Lakes by car.
We are easily accessible from the M6 motorway - junction 40 being only 7 miles away.
Facilities on the site include

* a large childrens adventure playground set in its own field
* an extraordinary olde-worlde bar housed in an old barn, complete with large open log fire
* pool and darts room adjacent to the bar - adults only.

Caravan Storage
Caravan storage can be arranged for people using the site reguarly. Caravans will be sited for you when you require and returned to storage when your holiday has finished. Caravans can be picked up by owners for independant touring if required.
The price is £40 per month.
Finding Us
Travelling from M6 Junction 40 :
Take A66 signposted Keswick for 1 mile.
Then take A592 signposted Ullswater for 4 miles.
Turn right when you see Lake Ullswater in front of you, still on A592 signposted Windermere.
After aproximately 1 mile you will see the Brackenrigg Inn on your right - turn right.
Follow the road for 1.5 miles
THE QUIET SITE is situated on the RIGHT HAND SIDE.
Turn right and book in at the shop.
