Carlton Park Camping and Caravan Site

Our camping and caravan site is on 6 acres of the sports grounds, we have 75 widely spaced pitches and a seperate camping area with well mown grass and 10 electric hook-up boxes available for campers. Our camping area is very spacious and we allow plenty of space between pitches. Groups can have an area reserved so that they can be together.

Apart from Bank Holiday weekends and the summer school holidays, we can accomodate tents without bookings but to be on the safe side please book via our website.

We have centrally heated toilets and showers, a laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer for campers ice-packs.

There are hot water washing up sinks.

There are water taps around the site and an elsan empty point.

As well as our adventure playground we have extensive playing fields with tennis courts and bowls green available for hire, (but you will need to bring your own equipment).

We also welcome touring caravans and motor homes and can accomodate them with campers on the camping area if required.

The site is situated on the edge of Saxmundham and the large supermarket, shops, restaurants and pubs are just half a mile away, with more pubs and restaurants nearby in the surrounding countryside.

We are adjacent to the Suffolk Heritage Coast with the delightful seaside town of Aldeburgh and Southwold within easy distance, as are historic castles, Snape Maltings and Minsmere RSPB bird reserve. Further afield but easily reached are rural suffolk, Norwich, Norfolk and The Broads.
